I was in the level one herbal studies class of 22. The program had detailed outlines for each class weekend agenda, with material lists and topics covered. This allows students to be well prepared and organized for each class weekend. 

I enjoyed the informative plant walks and hands on approach to each lesson. 

We started class on weekend one with the basic mechanics of herbalism that set the tone for the entire program and got students involved in hands on learning right away. 

I made a lot of great connections and friendships during our program. I found my tribe. 

Wendy has a great team working together to deliver the material covered in the program and I enjoyed working with each of the instructors. 

Practicums are an essential part of the program and provides students with the opportunity to get involved in the development of the gardens from sprout to harvest. 

Opening and closing circles will always be one of my favorite moments in the program. ✨

The Misty Meadows Herbal Apprentice Program was a life changing experience. Through my education there, I was able to take a much more active and empowered role in my health and well being and aid my family members to do the same. I go back to that strong foundation of herbal medicine and self care again and again and I’m so grateful to have had the experience.
